Plexus Web Creations, a full service Web design and application development firm based in Athens, Georgia recently announced the launch of several new Web sites.

Among the newly rolled out sites is Bulldawg Illustrated, a publication conceived six years ago that is designed to bring a sense of unity and participation to fans and alumni of the Georgia Bulldogs by enabling them to be a part of the publication.

The site, www.bulldawgillustrated.com makes the publication fully interactive in its online form. On the site, users are able to subscribe to the print or online version, read the latest UGA news from online news and blog posts, view recent photos from bulldog events across the state, and more.

Another recent launch, the Georgia Economic Developers Association (GEDA) Web site provides the organization’s members with an online directory, news, calendar of events with online registration, a job and resume bank, and much more. Check out the newly launched GEDA site at www.geda.org.

A pro bono project Plexus just finished up is a site for the Athens Area Cancer Auxiliary, a volunteer group in the area dedicated to fundraising, education and awareness for cancer that supports cancer patients in the local area. The AACA site provides information about the group as well as an online calendar, news and photo gallery.

On the real estate front, Plexus recently launched www.sells4urealty.com the brokerage site for agent Debbie McMillion. In addition to real estate listings, the site offers a news and blog feature that Debbie is able to update herself through the Site Manager, the admin interface for the site. This piece is critical so that content constantly gets added to the site in order to grow the overall page count, a key factor in search engine optimization on the site.

Fontis Water, an Atlanta-based water bottling company recently launched its new Plexus-built site. The site details all of the company offerings from bottled water and water coolers to coffee service and filtration. The site includes a “NewsStream” news database as well as the “WaterBlogged” blog for users to stay up to date with the latest information from Fontis on the site, www.fontiswater.com .

Finally, the newest edition to the Plexus family of sites is Barberitos . The newly redeveloped site features a fresh design that highlights the southwestern fare as well as a host of content management components. Among them are pxGallery, Plexus' photo gallery system. The main gallery features "Where In The World Is My Barberitos Shirt," a collection of fans wearing their Barberitos shirt all across the world. In addition, Barberitos manages their menu and news.
