With 2008 on the horizon, change abounds at Plexus. Not only is the Web Creations crew growing, but the firm is also embarking on its tenth year in business.

Founded in 1997, Stephanie Sharp envisioned Plexus as a way to channel her and her husband's creative ability and technical knowledge while escaping the rat race of traffic and long hours the pair experienced working for a real estate Internet venture in Atlanta.

And thus, Plexus was born. From its humble beginnings in a Watkinsville home, the company has grown to service nearly every industry from healthcare to real estate, manufacturing to marketing, banking to education, government to hospitality, and many more.

And while the industries Plexus serves has grown, so too has its staff. Currently at ten staff members, the Plexus professionals specialize in Web site and print design, software architecture, platform development, project management and more.

"We are excited about the opportunities our ten years of experience brings," said Sharp. "The growing nature of Plexus has helped us keep up with new technology and enabled us to better serve our clients."

In the midst of several challenging projects, Plexus continues to expand its offerings. "Our development team has expanded our product line to give consumers more control over their Web sites through our Site Manager interface," said Stephanie. "We now have an entire suite of content management systems that we’ve deemed pxComponents. With these tools, site administrators can control a greater portion of their site from galleries and news to blogs, calendars and more."
