Plexus Web Creations recently added a new and improved service to its suite of Web design and development offerings, positioning clients to receive online payments through their Web sites. While Plexus has always been able to provide this capability, the process was not a total turnkey solution. Prior to the new system, a client had to establish a merchant account, Internet gateway provider and complete the paperwork on their own. Now, Plexus is able to handle all the steps internally, streamlining the process.

According to Plexus Founder and CEO Stephanie Sharp, "Our comprehensive solution will allow any business that sends out invoices to accept credit card payments through their Web site, adding convenience for their clients and quicker payment turnaround for themselves."

Sharp added, "Prior to consolidating this offering, anyone who wanted to receive payments online had to work with three to four different vendors to obtain each of the necessary components, then Plexus integrated the components into the site. Now, Plexus is able to serve as a 'one stop shop' by collecting basic company and banking information from the client, completing the necessary paperwork and establishing the transaction pathway - it is a seamless process that takes less than a week to set up."

The end product will feature a secure Web page added to a site that customers use to fill out necessary information including payment amount, invoice number and contact information. The system accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Once the transaction is complete, the payment is transferred directly into the company�s bank account.
