Stephanie Sharp, President of Plexus Web Creations, recently attended the Georgia Psychological Foundation's Midwinter Conference, serving as a panelist. She addressed the group as part of the Tips & Techniques for Running Your Practice segment of the meeting.

The panel included Rick Blue, Ph.D., Panel Moderator, Nancy Woodruff, PhD., Melissa Herring, Ph.D., and Rick Van Haveren, Ph.D. Sharp's portion of the program explained the benefits of Search Engine Optimization and the positive marketing implications it offers private psychology practices.

Held in Charleston, South Carolina January 26 - 28 at the Francis Marion Hotel, the conference was entitled The Art of Mindfulness: Mind, Body & Beyond. Sharp's panel was billed "a dynamic interface between panelists and attendees designed to discuss proven methods of developing a private practice, coupled with innovative ideas to enhance one's practice," by conference organizers.

"Sharp's ideas were greeted eagerly by participants," said panel moderator Dr. Blue. "We have asked if she would be interested in presenting the same discussion in a panel at the GPF's Annual Convention in May of 2007." Rick Van Haveren, a career coach and owner of Career Navigator, has also asked if she would host a workshop on Web site development and Search Engine Optimization at the 2007 conference and the 2009 Midwinter Conference.
